Moo-ve Over, Beef Burgers: EN Finds Many Alternatives

With mad cow disease having reared its ugly head on U.S. soil, you may be a bit more leery of hamburger patties this summer. Happily, today’s supermarkets have many healthful and creative options. It’s possible to find pre-made turkey and salmon burgers, along with soy and veggie burgers; there's even portabella mushroom, mahi mahi, black bean, chicken and buffalo burgers as well.
