Dairy Alternatives on the Rise

A couple of decades ago, if you avoided milk, whether due to lactose intolerance or dietary preference, you might have had to travel to a natural food store to find alternatives. How times have changed—nearly every supermarket now offers a variety of plant milks made from soy, sunflower seeds, hemp, oats, rice, almonds, hazelnuts, coconut, and grains.
