EVOO’s Smoke Point Suitable for Cooking

You can’t beat extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) for taste and health. Standards for EVOO dictate that it be obtained only from the fruit of the olive tree, using techniques that do not alter the oil in any way, such as washing, centrifuging, filtering or using solvents. The result is unrefined, high-quality oil which imparts delicious flavor to foods, as well as health rewards.
