Healthy Decadence: Treats Worth the Splurge

Whether it’s the smooth mouth-feel and deep richness of dark chocolate, or the nuances of berry fruits and earthiness in red wine (or the combination of the two!), succumbing to cravings for our favorite decadent treats is often met with guilt. No more! These once-called “occasional treats” (see chart) are now considered healthy indulgences. It turns out many of the most delicious foods are as nourishing for the body as they are for the soul.
