Avoid Deadly Botulism

Itís actually not the bacteria that cause the problem; itís a toxin produced by the bacteria. If you eat contaminated food, symptoms may begin six hours to two weeks later and include altered vision, droopy eyelids, slurred speech, difficulty swallowing and muscle weakness starting at the shoulders and progressing downward. Untreated, it can kill.
