Guilty Only by Association: Natural Trans Fats May Not be Like Evil Twin
Q. Iíve heard that some trans fats occur naturally in foods. Are they as bad as the trans fats from partially hydrogenated oils?
A. Probably not. Naturally occurring trans fats, which are found in meat, butter, milk and cheese, have different chemical structures than those found in partially hydrogenated oils.
