Orange Juice Makers Get an “A” for Adding “D” to Protect Your Bones
When manufacturers added calcium to orange juice several years ago, it was a smart move. In an even smarter move, Minute Maid and Tropicana have now added calcium’s bone partner vitamin D to some of their orange juices and orange juice blends. Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium; without it, calcium’s benefits are not fully realized.
