Carotenoids Plus E May Protect Skin From Sun
Carotenoid and vitamin E supplements may help skin resist sunburn, according to a new German study. For 12 weeks, 20 fair-skinned men and women, ages 20 to 57, took either 25 milligrams of a mixed carotenoid supplement or that supplement plus 500 International Units of natural vitamin E.
