Smoothies: The Best of Drinks, the Worst of Drinks
With all the talk of New Age "functional foods," the current craze for health drinks called smoothies is refreshingly low-tech-at least in their original incarnation. Grab fresh fruit, throw in some milk or juice, maybe some frozen yogurt, then blend it up. Voilá! A beverage that's delicious and good for you, too.
