Check Out the Fine Print at Natural Foods Supermarkets

Q. Are the foods sold in natural foods supermarkets more healthful than those sold in conventional supermarkets? A. Generally, yes. There is certainly a greater choice of healthful foods at a natural foods supermarket, but that's no guarantee that everything sold there is nutritionally superior. You still have to read and heed labels. Though they may be the exceptions rather than the rule, some products, for example, still contain nitrites and hydrogenated oils.
